Question: Where is Hotmail now?

Since 2011, Hotmail, in terms of being Microsofts free webmail platform, has been replaced with Outlook.com. Outlook.com is a personal information manager web app from Microsoft consisting of webmail, calendaring, contacts, and tasks services.

Is Hotmail still available?

Hotmail and Outlook.com Microsoft closed that service years ago, and all Hotmail users are using its current service at Outlook.com. You are, of course, still using a Hotmail address. However, if you switched to using a new Outlook.com address, you would still be using exactly the same email service.

How far back do Hotmail emails go?

They will keep them forever as long as you log in once per year. Did you ever connect to the account using outlook installed on your desktop and archived the mail to a pst file? That would be one reason the mail would deleted if you use the account regularly.
